Like so many beautiful homes, the story begins as you enter hand forged iron gates. A gracious compound with a classic adobe home, a guest casita with wall of french doors, columned terrace, pool, and all nestled around green grass, magnificent trees, and splashes of flowers. It is a magical place that causes everyone to linger. ''Zaguan'' which means entrance in spanish, is a charming way to enter this special home. A seguay through glass doors to the north patio where unobstructed mountain views prevail. The great room can only be called breathtaking. Bringing the views in at every turn it is large, light, airy,and yet so inviting. The formal dining room is just as it should be..classy, beautiful lighting, and designed for long conversations around the dinner table. A gourmet kitchen with a fireplace/pizza oven, concrete counters, and anchored by a magnificent wolf stove. It is done right. One of my favorite rooms is a library that was designed with every attention to detail....picture custom cabinetry, room for a magnificent office, and still a reading area cozied up to the fireplace. A split bedroom plan,the master shares the same magnificent windows and views as the rest of the home. A gracious fireplace and seating area completes the suite. The guest casita with its brick floors and full bath is so welcoming. I could go on and on. As a Tucson native, I love finding a home that defines my city.
